Barchester-Healthcare in Edinburgh is seeking a Caring Care Assistant to support residents with daily living, meals, and social activities, delivering compassionate, patient-centered care in a welcoming environment.

You will be part of a supportive team, with on-the-job training provided and opportunities to build meaningful relationships through one-to-one time and personalised care plans.

Formación

• Some experience of caring for older people.
• A can-do approach and excellent communication skills.
• Empathy and warm-hearted approach to residents.
• Training will be provided to thrive in the role.

Responsabilidades

• Assist residents with daily living activities and eating/drinking as needed.
• Provide companionship and engage residents in meaningful moments.
• Offer one-to-one time and ensure personalised attention per care plans.
• Follow care plans and document observations as required.
• Support residents' wellbeing and comfort throughout the shift.

ABOUT THE ROLE As a Care Assistant at a Barchester care home, you'll help residents enjoy each day by making sure they get the quality care and support they deserve.
