Job summary

A respected care charity in the United Kingdom is seeking Care Assistants to provide exceptional support and care to older residents. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities and promoting residents' rights to independence and dignity. Ideal candidates will understand resident needs and confidentiality. Full-time and part-time hours are available, with a pay range of £12.88-£13.51 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

  • An understanding of the needs of residents.
  • An understanding of the importance of confidentiality.
  • Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) diploma in care level 2 or the equivalent (Desirable).
  • Experience of providing care (Desirable).
  • Experience of working with elders (Desirable).

Responsibilities

  • Give support and care to the residents.
  • Assist residents with dressing, washing, and bathing.
  • Help residents with mobility problems.
  • Assist with personal hygiene.

Pay details: £12.88- £13.51 per hour
Hours: Full-time and Part-time hours available
Shifts:8 pm- 8 am including weekends

As a Care Assistant, you will:

  • Give support and care to the residents whilst maintaining their rights to independence, privacy, dignity and choice and assist in their daily living.
  • Assist residents who require help to dress/undress, wash, and bath and use the toilet.
  • To assist residents with mobility problems and other physical disabilities including the use and care of aids and personal equipment.
  • Assist residents who need help with personal hygiene e.g. incontinence.
  • Promote and adhere to the Greensleeves Care -Workplace values of respect, openness and responsibility.
