Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant for our Alcester home. You’ll assist residents with daily living, meals and personal care, providing companionship in a warm, respectful environment.

Night shifts 7pm–7am with rotating weekends. Shifts are 12 hours on 24–48 hour contracts, and we offer training and development to help you grow in your care career.

Qualifications

• Experience caring for older people.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Compassion and patience in care settings.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living, including mobility and personal care.
• Provide companionship and engage residents with meaningful activities.
• Follow individual care plans and support meals and nutrition needs.
• Ensure residents have one-to-one time and a safe, comfortable environment.

The working hours for this role are 7pm to 7am with rotational weekends. We can offer 24 to 48 hour contracts along with bank, but all shifts are 12 hour shifts.

As a Care Assistant at a Barchester care home, you'll help residents enjoy each day by making sure they get the quality care and support they deserve.
