ABM UK seeks a Night HVAC Mechanical Reactive Engineer to provide HVAC services across Transport for London sites. You'll be responsible for attending fault assignments, ensuring efficient operation, maintaining documentation, and adhering to safety protocols. JOB TITLE: Night HVAC Mechanical Reactive Engineer
LOCATIONS: TFL sites across London
SHIFT PATTERN: Night Shift – 18:00 – 06:00 (4 on 4 off rotation)
SALARY: £51,410 per annum

ROLE OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE
To deliver HVAC mechanical reactive services across the Transport for London contract.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Ensure that fault assignments are attended, diagnosed and repaired in line with agreed contractual SLA
• Ensure that suitable spares are available to complete allocated tasks
• Ensure that all relevant site documentation is held and maintained
• Ensure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are always prepared and used for all tasks undertaken to ensure safe working practices
• To develop a good working relationship with all members of staff, subcontractors and the client representatives
• Ensure the provision of a safe and healthy working environment. To include the wearing of uniform and PPE always
• Ensure up to date plant logs are always kept
• Ensure that all plant rooms under the responsibility of the organization are kept in a clean and tidy condition
• To undertake lone working when and where required, subject to passing satisfactory training
• Ensure assigned tasks are actioned and completed as appropriate
• Ensure an awareness and compliance to the contractual KPI's/SLA's
• Ensure CAFM system is kept up to date and that Reactive tickets are closed out with accurate data captured
• Any other task as directed by the account management team
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• To hold an NVQ/City & Guilds Qualification in Refrigeration / Air Conditioning
• To hold a CAT 1 F Gas qualification
• To hold a Full UK Driving License
• Good mechanical engineer experience
• Good experience in reactive works and track record in working in Facilities Management
