A leading energy services company is seeking a Night Abandonment Supervisor for a temporary role in Aberdeen. The successful candidate will supervise offshore operations and manage drilling programmes. A degree in a relevant field and extensive experience in the North Sea are required. Our prestigious Client, who provide energy and water to communities around the world are currently seeking an experienced Night Abandonment Supervisor for a Temporary Agency Worker contract role in the UK.

The role and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Supervise offshore operations, ensuring the safe and successful execution of drilling programmes.
  • Review the abandonment programme in detail and advise the Wells Superintendent of deficiencies and of potential improvements to the programme.
  • Supervise the abandonment of the well and ensure activities are undertaken safely and in a cost effective and timely manner.
  • Responsible for the accuracy of information in the daily reports and in other communications with the onshore wells team.
  • Supervise and support the well operational activities of Wells team members offshore.

Applications are invited from degree qualified candidates in a relevant technical/engineering discipline, however due consideration will be given to those with relevant experience.

The successful incumbent will have extensive experience working as a Night Abandonment Supervisor in the North Sea.

All industry competency certification (IWCF Level 4, BOSIET with CA-EBS, MEDICAL and MIST) are required for this role.

All candidates must have The Right To Work In The UK, as no sponsorship is available.
