Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 0–2 years of hospital experience.
• Education and work experience may substitute for one another as outlined in the job requirements.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Ability to follow established procedures, adapt to changing priorities, and collaborate with healthcare teams.
• Commitment to patient safety, confidentiality, and infection prevention practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inventories of nursing unit and patient room supplies, checking stock levels and expiration dates.
• Stock and organize supply rooms, cabinets, and specialty carts.
• Receive and distribute equipment, supplies, and stocked IV solutions according to established procedures.
• Process supply requests and communicate equipment and special-order needs.
• Report malfunctioning equipment to Biomedical Engineering.
• Monitor nourishment areas and replenish supplies as needed.
• Assist with patient transportation within and between departments as needed.
• Perform periodic storeroom inventories and report maintenance concerns in patient care and common areas.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized supply spaces.
