Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage all aspects of electrical compliance across the organisation.
  • Maintain and develop NICEIC Approved Contractor status.
  • Conduct internal audits, inspections, and quality checks on electrical installations.
  • Ensure all works comply with BS7671 Wiring Regulations and relevant legislation.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to project teams and site engineers.
  • Manage certification processes, including Electrical Installation Certificates and Minor Works.
  • Investigate non-compliance issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Liaise with external bodies including NICEIC, HSE, and local authorities.
  • Deliver training and toolbox talks on electrical safety and compliance.
  • Keep up to date with changes in legislation, standards, and best practices.
  • Qualified Electrician with NVQ Level 3 and AM2.
Qualifications
  • NICEIC Qualified Supervisor status (or eligible).
  • Strong working knowledge of BS7671 and electrical compliance frameworks.
  • Experience in managing electrical audits and inspections.
  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
  • Ability to lead and influence teams across multiple sites.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and compliance management systems.
  • HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or Building Services.
  • IOSH or NEBOSH certification.
  • Experience in commercial, industrial, or public sector environments.
