Overview

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Electrical Compliance Manager to oversee and ensure full compliance with electrical regulations and standards across our projects and facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing NICEIC accreditation, conducting audits, and supporting continuous improvement in electrical safety and quality.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage all aspects of electrical compliance across the organisation.
  • Maintain and develop NICEIC Approved Contractor status.
  • Conduct internal audits, inspections, and quality checks on electrical installations.
  • Ensure all works comply with BS7671 Wiring Regulations and relevant legislation.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to project teams and site engineers.
  • Manage certification processes, including Electrical Installation Certificates and Minor Works.
  • Investigate non-compliance issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Liaise with external bodies including NICEIC, HSE, and local authorities.
  • Deliver training and toolbox talks on electrical safety and compliance.
  • Keep up to date with changes in legislation, standards, and best practices.
Qualifications
  • Qualified Electrician with NVQ Level 3 and AM2.
  • NICEIC Qualified Supervisor status (or eligible).
  • Strong working knowledge of BS7671 and electrical compliance frameworks.
  • Experience in managing electrical audits and inspections.
  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
  • Ability to lead and influence teams across multiple sites.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and compliance management systems.
Desirable Qualifications
  • HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or Building Services.
  • IOSH or NEBOSH certification.
  • Experience in commercial, industrial, or public sector environments.
