An opportunity has arisen within the Medical Equipment Management Service. Although based at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, the successful candidate will work across NHS Lothian sites to support medical equipment management services.

Required

We seek self-motivated applicants capable of working effectively within a team to ensure the smooth operation of the service. Good interpersonal skills, flexibility, and a methodical approach are essential. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, conscientious, and technically capable, supporting medical equipment management within NHS Lothian. The primary responsibilities include:

  1. Carrying out medical equipment audits and producing accurate equipment lists,
  2. Asset labelling of medical devices to support RFID asset tracking, and
  3. Ensuring accurate information in the medical equipment management system.

Please note this position falls under the Medical Equipment Contracts Team. References to reporting to the Workshop Manager or Sector Manager should be understood as reporting to the Medical Equipment Contracts Manager.
