NHS Lothian is recruiting a Lead Research Nurse at the Western General Hospital. This is a fixed-term position for 4 years.

The Edinburgh Clinical Research Facility (CRF) is recruiting experienced, enthusiastic Clinical Research Nurses to create a new Nursing and Clinical team for the NHS Lothian Commercial Research Delivery Centre (CRDC) at the Western General Hospital.

The CRDC is part of the 2024 Investment Programme to support patient access to medicines, NHS sustainability, and the UK life sciences sector.

Postholders will provide high-quality nursing care for patients and volunteers in clinical research across various specialties, supporting investigators and research teams to deliver safe and effective research.

Edinburgh CRF supports clinical research with existing facilities at Western General Hospital, Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, and the Royal Hospital for Children and Young People. The CRDC will expand capacity for clinical and commercial research in NHS Lothian.
