This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/ record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.

We are seeking motivated, enthusiastic and conscientious radiographers to join our team in Interventional Radiology, Cardiology and Main X-ray.

The successful candidate will work 0.5 WTE in Interventional Radiology and Cardiology and 0.5 WTE in Main X-ray at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. The post holder will rotate in various departments, such as A&E, CT, Cardiology, Interventional Radiology, Theatre, Portables, Inpatients, Outpatients, Fluoroscopy and Portables. The post will provide an excellent opportunity for the successful candidates to develop and expand their expertise and skills.

As a Specialist Rotational Radiographer you will become proficient in all aspects of the above imaging. You will also be expected to supervise and train Radiographers on their induction period, Students and Assistant Practitioners.

This post provides an excellent opportunity to work with state of the art equipment.

Equipment includes, Philips, Samsung and Fuigi X-ray Rooms, GE Inova x2 Cardiology Flat Plates, Allia 7 Cardiology Flat Plate, Siemens Axiom Artis Zee x2 Vascular Flat Plates, Canon Acquillion One Prime SP CT Scanner and Canon Acquillion One Prism CT Scanner.

The successful applicant will be required to participate in a 5/7 rota whilst working in main x-ray and an on call service in Interventional Radiology and Cardiology.
