Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Project Accountant to join the Patient Income and Contracting team for a 12-month fixed-term/secondment role. The post offers exposure to NHS income and contracting processes and line management experience.

The successful candidate will lead on critical income reporting, provide accurate income and activity data to clinical colleagues, and support the team in delivering robust monthly income position reporting.

Responsibilities

• To be the Finance lead for income projects, as directed by the Senior Income Accountant/Contracts Manager.
• To interpret and present financial information to Clinicians and Managers.
• To take individual responsibility for managing and delivering specific complex financial and management objectives.
• To work as part of a team to ensure a high level of data quality and robust external and internal financial reporting.
• To manage the process of reporting the YTD and forecast income position each month.
