Duration of booking: Expected to last 3 months with possible extension.

Proposed start date: ASAP

Pay Rates
  • Weekdays: £13.20 per hour Umbrella or £11.68 per hour PAYE inclusive of holiday pay
  • Saturdays: £15.50 per hour Umbrella or £13.50 per hour PAYE inclusive of holiday pay
  • Sundays: £18.00 per hour Umbrella or £16.00 per hour PAYE inclusive of holiday pay

Working hours: 35-37.5 hours per week, working 5 days across Monday to Friday, with 8-hour shifts between 8am – 4pm. Part-time days may be considered.

Experience and Qualifications
  • A valid driving licence and confident driver
  • Comfortable with medium to heavy lifting
  • Ability to speak, read, and write at a basic level in English
  • Experience in cleaning or manual handling in a professional setting
  • Understanding of COSHH & Health and Safety regulations
  • Capable of working safely and efficiently with minimal supervision
  • Experience in lifting, handling, and transporting goods such as food, bedding, newspapers, furniture, and waste
  • Ability to deliver medication following Pharmaceutical guidelines, under the direction of the Chief Pharmacist
  • Assist in the delivery of post to reception areas where appropriate
  • Assist in moving patients and their belongings professionally
  • Complete necessary training to perform departmental SOPs safely and effectively
  • Report faults and defects in equipment or building fabric to the supervisor/line manager
  • Ensure proper use of machinery, tools, and materials in accordance with instructions, legal requirements, and training
