Job summary

Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust is offering a Pharmacy Technician Apprentice role based between Wesham and Blackpool. This program combines on-the-job learning with a Level 3 Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship, supported by experienced supervisors across the Fylde pharmacy team.

You will be required to complete the Level 3 Diploma in the Principles and Practice for Pharmacy Technicians, undertake training remotely with a partner provider, and meet eligibility criteria including

Qualifications

• 4 GCSEs including English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above
• Applicants must be 18 years or over to apply
• Enrolment on the Level 3 Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship program
• Must be able to travel between Wesham and Blackpool sites

Responsibilities

• Rotate across sites following learning plan
• Assist with dispensing and stock management of medicines
• Participate in audits and ensure medicines safety standards
• Provide medication education to patients and carers
• Support the pharmacy team and communicate effectively with patients
