Job summary

Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust (CNTW) in Carlisle is seeking a full-time Band 4 Administrator to join the North Cumbria Community Treatment Team as a Pathway Coordinator. The role requires mobility around North Cumbria sites and supports the clinical team to meet targets and standards.

The post provides training, development opportunities, and a supportive leadership team, with a focus on efficient service delivery and performance monitoring.

Qualifications

• OCR/RSA Level 3 qualification or equivalent in Word/Text Processing
• General education to O-Level/ GCSE or equivalent
• NVQ Level 3 or QCF Level 3 in Customer Care (or equivalent)
• NVQ Level 3 or QCF Level 3 in Business Administration (or equivalent)
• Word/Text processing skills and RiO experience
• Working knowledge of Microsoft applications, including e-mail communication
• Ability to maintain and update Patient Information Systems RiO
• Knowledge of NHS procedures and Policies
• Experience of data collection and analysis
• Good organisational and planning skills
• Knowledge and understanding of relevant clinical terminology
• Experience using stock ordering systems and petty cash systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
• Shorthand skills

Responsibilities

• Gather and input patient data onto RiO
• Monitor performance data
• Provide administrative support to a large team
• Prioritise fluctuating workload to meet service demands
• Provide support to CTT to maintain cover in absence of peers
• Demonstrate high organisational skills
• Demonstrate outstanding communication skills both written and verbal
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and daily use of Microsoft Office
• Note taking skills and minute meetings, including live typing
