Job summary

Kent and Medway Mental Health NHS Trust in Dartford is seeking a part-time Cleaner to join our Estates and Facilities team. The role supports hygiene standards in clinical areas and adheres to National Cleaning Guidelines.

You will work 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08:00–13:00 and Wednesday 08:00–17:00 during week 1, with flexibility as needed. The role is contracted and based in Dartford.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have previous cleaning experience.
• Basic knowledge of National Cleaning Standards is required.
• Verbal and written communication skills are essential for handover information.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily shift plan to maintain hygiene standards.
• Monitor weekly department performance to meet Trust standards.
• Provide a patient-focused service across clinical areas.
• Undertake general cleaning and related tasks to a high standard.
• Work with Ward Managers on ward cleaning and hygiene.
