Job summary

United Lincolnshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is recruiting a Lincoln Procurement & Supply Chain Assistant (Band 3) to join the Lincoln Supply Chain Team. The post will manage stock for theatres, wards and departments and ensure timely receipt, storage and distribution of goods.

The role requires knowledge of NHS procurement processes, good IT skills and the ability to work within a busy hospital environment. The salary range is £25,760 to £27,476 per annum, with yearly pay.

Qualifications

• GCSE/O Level Grade C or above in English & Maths or equivalent.
• Computer literacy to RSA Level 2 or above or equivalent.
• Able to demonstrate moving and handling techniques.

Responsibilities

• Provide a fully managed service to theatres for all stock and non-stock.
• Provide a full Materials Management service to wards and departments.
• Develop relationships with end-user departments to ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Strive for best practice and more effective ways of working in the department.
• Ensure a continuous supply of goods in line with the materials management system.
