Job description

Thank you for your interest in joining NHS Lothian & Borders Staff Bank.

We are seeking a reliable and dependable Audiology Assistant to join NHS Lothian & Borders Staff Bank. Ideal candidates are team players who can provide high standards of patient-centered care, demonstrating kindness, professionalism, and flexibility.

All Staff Bank roles are designed to cover temporary shortages across NHS Lothian. Work is offered on an "as and when required" basis with various shift patterns to accommodate flexible working. Please note that there are no guarantees of a fixed number of hours weekly, as this is demand-driven.

The staff bank manages shifts for ancillary services across NHS Lothian via an electronic online booking system, enabling workers to view and book shifts via computer or mobile device.

Applicants should have relevant training in Audiology, particularly in repairs and hearing aid maintenance. Evidence of such training must be provided upon application, along with a demonstrated commitment to being part of our supplementary workforce.

Interviews will be held on Monday, 8th September 2025.
