Job summary

Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced delivery driver to join our Trent Logistics team. The role involves multi-drop NHS cargo deliveries and collections using light commercial vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes, across Nottinghamshire and surrounding areas.

You will work on a rota from 6.30am to 8pm, Monday to Friday, with a 37.5-hour week. A full UK driving licence (category B, manual) is required, and good communication with colleagues and customers is essential.

Qualifications

• Recent delivery driving experience with light commercial vehicles.
• Full UK driving licence with category B and no endorsements.
• Experience in multi-drop deliveries and working on a rota.
• Able to communicate politely and effectively with customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Undertake collection and delivery of NHS cargos using light commercial vehicles.
• Drive a light vehicle for at least 50% of the working day and work on scheduled rota.
• Attend multiple sites and communicate with customers throughout the day.
• Complete paperwork and vehicle/records accurately and on time.
• Work without direct supervision and adapt to timescales and traffic conditions.
