Job summary

Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced delivery driver to join our Logistics team in Nottinghamshire. The role involves multi-drop deliveries and NHS cargos using light commercial vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes, with a 7.5 hour day on a Monday to Friday rota.

A full UK driving licence (category B) with no endorsements is required, along with good communication skills to interact with customers.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering with light commercial vehicles (up to 3.5t) using manual gearboxes.
• Hold a full UK driving licence (Category B) with no endorsements.
• Able to work on a rota, 7.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday.
• Excellent communication with customers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect NHS cargos, including pathology items, pharmacy items, mail, stock and medical records.
• Work as part of the Logistics team on scheduled runs and ad hoc work.
• Drive light commercial vehicles and perform basic vehicle checks and maintenance.
