The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn NHS Foundation Trust is welcoming applications for an NHS Locum Consultant General Surgeon.
You will provide benign general surgical and upper gastrointestinal surgical services to the community served by the Queen Elizabeth Hospital NHS Trust and play a key role with colleagues in further developing general surgical services.
You will provide, with consultant colleagues, a service in general surgery involving in-patient and out-patient work and share in the on-call rota.
This post is to support the development of the General Surgery service. All staff support and ancillary facilities are in place. There will be office space for the post-holder with a dedicated computer and IT facilities and medical secretarial support.
We are working on a once-in-a-generation opportunity to build a new hospital and undertake significant digital transformation, including a new electronic patient record from 2026.
