Job summary

Sellick Partnership is assisting an NHS Trust in the South West by recruiting an Associate Director of Finance for a 6-9 month term. The role oversees financial systems, reporting, planning and contracting, with responsibility for budgeting and forecasting.

The successful candidate will be fully qualified in accountancy with extensive NHS finance leadership experience and a track record of working in NHS provider organisations.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant with extensive senior leadership experience in NHS finance.
• Experience of working for NHS provider organisations.
• Expertise in Financial Reporting, Financial Planning, Finance Systems and Financial Recovery.

Responsibilities

• Lead on the Trust's financial systems and reporting.
• Oversee financial planning, improvement and contracting functions.
• Coordinate short, medium and long-term financial models and plans.
• Deliver statutory reporting systems including unqualified Annual Accounts.
• Manage budget setting and forecasting for the Trust.
