South East Coast Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Interim Associate Director of Financial Management to provide strategic leadership of the Trust's Financial Management and Business Partnering function, shaping annual and medium-term financial plans and ensuring robust budgeting, forecasting and reporting.

You will drive financial recovery, CIP delivery and effective performance management across multiple portfolios, advising Executive teams and leading a high-performing

Qualifications

• Significant senior NHS finance experience essential.
• CCAB or CIMA qualification.
• Experience of NHS financial management, planning and business partnering.
• Delivery of financial recovery programmes and CIPs.
• Experience leading finance through organisational change and transformation.
• Strong knowledge of NHS governance and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to advise and influence Executive and senior leadership teams.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling skills.
• Proven leadership and development of high-performing finance teams.

Responsabilités

• Provide strategic leadership to the Financial Management and Business Partnering function.
• Lead development and delivery of annual and medium-term financial plans.
• Drive financial recovery plans and Cost Improvement Programmes.
• Oversee financial performance across multiple portfolios.
• Identify financial risks and develop mitigating actions.
• Provide strategic financial advice to Executive teams.
• Lead input into business cases, transformation programmes and major investments.
• Ensure robust budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
• Develop Finance Business Partners and the wider team.
• Build strong relationships with operational, clinical and corporate leaders.
• Improve financial understanding among budget holders and senior managers.
• Drive value for money, efficiency and long-term sustainability.
• Represent the Trust at system, regional and partnership meetings.
