Job summary

Sellick Partnership is supporting an NHS Trust in the South West to appoint an Associate Director of Finance for a 6-9 month contract. The role leads on financial systems, reporting, planning, improvement and contracting functions.

The post requires a fully qualified accountant with extensive senior leadership experience in NHS finance and a track record in NHS provider organisations, financial reporting, planning and recovery.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant.
• Extensive senior leadership experience in NHS finance.
• Experience of working for NHS provider organisations.
• Expertise in Financial Reporting, Financial Planning, Finance Systems and Financial Recovery.
• Strong leadership/management skills.

Responsibilities

• Co-ordinate, complete and develop short, medium and long-term financial models and plans for the Trust.
• Deliver statutory reporting systems including unqualified Annual Accounts.
• Deliver monthly financial performance reports and dashboards to the Trust Board and FIIC.
• Lead on the Trust's budget setting and forecasting arrangements.
• Direct the finance department's strategy to identify and monitor financial improvement plans.
