Job summary

Bid Solutions, a Birmingham-based technology company serving the NHS and wider health and social care sector, is hiring a Bid Writer. This is a writing role, first and foremost, under the Bid Manager to translate strategy into persuasive NHS/public sector tender responses.

You'll interview SMEs, manage multiple submissions to deadlines, and maintain the bid library while refining responses based on feedback and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience writing narrative-based tender responses (NHS/public sector advantageous).
• Portfolio of bid writing you can discuss in detail.
• Strong commercial acumen and argument building.
• Comfortable using AI tools to support drafting while ensuring quality and accuracy.
• Able to work at pace under pressure with consistent quality.

Responsibilities

• Write high-quality, narrative-based responses to NHS/public sector tenders.
• Interview subject matter experts to gather evidence and case studies.
• Manage multiple submissions to hard deadlines.
• Maintain and improve bid library and response bank.
• Review feedback from won/lost bids to raise standards.
