A leading healthcare organization is seeking a qualified NHS Audiologist to conduct diagnostic hearing tests and provide audiological care. Qualifications

  • Provide follow-up care and fitting for hearing aids.
  • Deliver patient-centered care.

Key Duties



To carry out diagnostic hearing tests to patients with Ear Nose and Throat conditions, to include, but are not limited to the following:- Audiogram
- Tympanogram
- Pure tone air/ Bone conduction
- Masking

Key Skills and Qualifications

Qualified AudiologistIdeally HCPC RegisteredMust be living in the UK and living or planning to live within a commutable distance of the areas mentionedEssential Skills:
- Proven experience working as an Audiologist within the NHS.
- Expertise in conducting audiological assessments, fitting hearing aids, and providing follow-up care.
- Familiarity with NHS referral pathways and clinical guidelines.
- Experience in using audiology diagnostic equipment and patient management systems.
- Ability to deliver patient-centered care with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Desirable Skills:
- Experience in vestibular testing and rehabilitation.
- Knowledge of paediatric audiology services.
- Participation in quality improvement initiatives or audits.

Education and Qualifications:
- Degree in Audiology or equivalent qualification.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Membership in the British Academy of Audiology (BAA) or equivalent professional body is desirable.
