A regional ambulance service is seeking an NHS 111 Integrated Urgent Care Clinical Advisor. Band 6 (£38,682 - £46,580) plus unsocial hours allowance. Full and part‑time positions available. Office based in Otterbourne; home/remote working not available.

Responsibilities
  • Clinically assess patients over the phone, calling patients to access symptoms.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (health advisors, nurses, paramedics, mental health practitioners, pharmacists).
  • Maintain high‑quality patient care and support continuous professional development.
  • Commit to a 9‑week full‑time training programme (fully paid).
Qualifications
  • Registered general nurse (RN1, RNA), Specialist Practitioner or Paramedic.
  • NMC and HCPC registration.
  • Minimum 3 years post‑registration experience, including triage experience.
  • Computer literacy, excellent telephone manner and ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Prepared to work weekends in a 4‑week period; shifts 6/8 hours in length.
Person Specification
  • Recent professional experience and triage experience.
  • Customer service experience and experience of dealing with emotionally charged situations.
  • Understanding of clinical governance, audit practices and flexible working approach.
