Are you passionate about finding great stories, breaking news first and making a real impact in your community?
We are looking for a motivated and ambitious News Reporter to join our award-winning Worcestershire newsroom.
Based in the historic cathedral city of Worcester, you'll cover some of the biggest stories affecting local people while also uncovering the unique tales that make our communities special. No two days are the same. One day you could be covering a major breaking news story, the next attending a community event, interviewing inspiring people or holding decision-makers to account.
As part of a supportive and fast-paced team, you will produce high-quality digital-first journalism for our websites, newsletters and social media channels. You'll play a key role in ensuring our readers are informed, engaged and connected to the issues that matter most.
We're looking for someone with strong news sense, excellent writing skills and a genuine enthusiasm for local journalism. Whether you're an NCTJ-qualified trainee looking for your first newsroom role or an experienced reporter ready for a new challenge, we'd love to hear from you.
The role is based in Worcester and includes some weekend, evening and early morning shifts on a rota basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the UK's leading regional news publishers and help shape the future of local journalism in Worcestershire.
