Newly registered paediatric nurses will join our Preceptorship Programme, which offers structured training and support as you start your career. The programme aims to help you develop the skills and knowledge needed to practice autonomously as a confident and competent practitioner within King’s. You will be assigned a named preceptor for support and a dedicated facilitator to oversee your progress, ensuring continuous learning opportunities.

We also offer many training and education opportunities for experienced staff, including in-house and external courses.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering high-quality, evidence-based, patient-focused clinical care
• Working effectively as part of the immediate team and wider multidisciplinary team (MDT)
• Upholding a duty of care and clinical governance
• Maintaining your own and others’ knowledge of clinical excellence
