We are currently looking for a Newly Qualified Speech and Language Therapist to support the clinical leadership of the service. This role is based in Croydon, easily accessible via public transport.
About the role:
As a speech and language therapist for SEMH specialist schools in the Croydon region, you will work with students aged 11 to 17 years.
Your main responsibilities:
- Manage your caseload of schools, providing support and consultation to operational colleagues.
- Offer therapeutic advice and guidance to teams supporting young people with Horizon.
- Conduct assessments, set goals, and recommend therapeutic support for your caseload.
- Develop, write, and review therapeutic goals for children and young people in education.
- Contribute to delivering therapeutic and psychological training to staff as part of the Therapeutic Academy.
- Participate in regular supervision and CPD activities.
- Engage in service development activities across the Horizon Group.
Candidate requirements:
- HCPC registered.
- Full UK driving license and own vehicle.
