Job Description:

Pulse has recently partnered with one of the UK’s specialist providers of diagnostic and healthcare solutions. We are currently looking for a Newly Qualified Speech and Language Therapist to support the clinical leadership of the service. This role is based in Croydon, easily accessible via public transport.

About the role:

As a speech and language therapist for SEMH specialist schools in the Croydon region, you will work with students aged 11 to 17 years.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Manage your caseload of schools, providing support and consultation to operational colleagues.
  • Offer therapeutic advice and guidance to teams supporting young people with Horizon.
  • Conduct assessments, set goals, and recommend therapeutic support for your caseload.
  • Develop, write, and review therapeutic goals for children and young people in education.
  • Contribute to delivering therapeutic and psychological training to staff as part of the Therapeutic Academy.
  • Participate in regular supervision and CPD activities.
  • Engage in service development activities across the Horizon Group.

Candidate requirements:

  • HCPC registered.
  • Full UK driving license and own vehicle.
