About the role
We’re looking for a Newly Qualified Social Worker to join our Mental Health Specialist Social Work Team. You’ll be part of a friendly, supportive service within the wider Adult Mental Health Social Work Service, providing vital social work support to adults known to secondary mental health services.
Social workers play a crucial role in improving mental health outcomes for Hillingdon residents. You’ll work in partnership with residents, families, carers and other professionals to co-produce solutions, promote recovery and maximise independence. You’ll use your social work skills, knowledge and values to engage creatively, understand what matters most to each individual and help them achieve their goals.
We focus on supporting people to live well in the community and work closely with families and local networks, as this delivers the best outcomes. Developing a whole-system response with key partners is essential to providing high-quality, outcome-focused care and the right support at the right time.
