Job description

Are you an experienced conveyancing lawyer (CILEX, CLC, Solicitor) looking to take the next step in your career? We are working with a well-established, boutique law firm in Ipswich that is looking for a talented and ambitious property lawyer to join their thriving team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone from NQ level up to 5 years PQE (although this is only a guideline and very flexible) who is eager to grow within a supportive and forward-thinking firm. The role offers long-term progression opportunities and the chance to work with a firm that has built a strong reputation for excellence in client service.

The Role

You will be managing a varied caseload of residential property matters, including:

  • Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
  • Shared Ownership transactions
  • Re-mortgages
  • New Build developments

From initial instruction to completion, you will ensure a seamless and high-quality service for clients.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Providing estimates and taking instructions
  • Drafting and approving legal documents, including contracts and transfer deeds
  • Working collaboratively within a supportive and experienced team
  • Attending networking and business development events to strengthen relationships and grow the firm’s presence
About You

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • A minimum of 1 year’s experience in residential conveyancing (no real maximum), with a proven track record of managing cases independently
  • Strong technical knowledge of the conveyancing process
  • Excellent client care and communication skills
  • A proactive and team-oriented approach
  • An interest in business development and networking
