Job summary

LHH is recruiting a Newly Qualified Employment Solicitor for its Leeds office. You will join a busy Employment team in Leeds city centre, handling a varied workload from day one and supporting partner-led matters.

You should hold a training seat in Employment and be organised, a confident communicator, and excited to build a career in Employment law. The role offers real responsibility and the chance to work with a strong client base.

Qualifications

• Newly qualified solicitor desired with a seat in Employment during training contract (if NQ level).
• Organised and methodical, able to juggle several matters simultaneously.
• Confident communicator with clients and colleagues.
• Genuine enthusiasm for employment work and building a career in it.

Responsibilities

• corporate, commercial and real estate transactions, business transfers and outsourcings;
• employment tribunal, civil court and appeal litigation;
• collective matters such as restructuring/redundancies, integration and TUPE, and industrial relations;

Newly Qualified – 4PQE Solicitor | Employment | Leeds | £51,000 starting salary

A top 100 UK law firm with a strong presence across the North is looking for a solicitor to join its established Employment team in Leeds city centre.

Due to their current team structure and the work pipeline, there is enough support and work for a Newly Qualified Solicitor to join, up to a Solicitor with four years’ post-qualification experience.

You would enjoy real responsibility from day one, working as part of a well-regarded national employment practice with an expansive client base.

Responsibilities include:

• corporate, commercial and real estate transactions, business transfers and outsourcings;
• employment tribunal, civil court and appeal litigation;
• collective matters such as restructuring/redundancies, integration and TUPE, and industrial relations;
• investigations (including regulatory investigations); and
• strategic projects such as compliance with new legal requirements.

They are looking for:

• a newly qualified or upwards solicitor, with a seat in employment during training contract (if NQ level)
