Location: Cornwall

Salary: £32-36,000 DOE

An excellent opportunity has opened for a newly qualified Architect to join a progressive and design-focused practice based in Cornwall. This role offers the chance to work on a diverse range of projects across justice, defence, civic, commercial, and education sectors. Based in the Cornwall office, the position combines studio collaboration with site responsibilities, so a full driving licence and willingness to travel are essential. Hybrid working is available to support a healthy work-life balance. Some projects require BPSS clearance (handled in-house), particularly for Ministry of Justice (MOJ) and Ministry of Defence (MOD) sites.

Daily Duties Will Include:
    Running projects independently from concept through to deliveryCollaborating within a wider multi-disciplinary teamAttending site visits and meetings with contractors and clientsProducing detailed design and technical documentationContributing to design quality, regulatory compliance, and project efficiencyEngaging with heritage elements where relevant
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
    RIBA Part III qualification (or equivalent)At least several years UK based experience throughout their architectural careerA full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sitesExperience or interest in heritage projects (advantageous)Working knowledge of Revit (advantageous)Strong communication skills and confidence in client-facing rolesAbility to manage their own workload and contribute to team deliveryA proactive and detail-oriented mindset
