Job summary

Kingston and Richmond NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a diligent staff member to carry out routine newborn hearing screening using S4H and automated equipment, following national and local protocols, with liaison to ward staff.

You will record results accurately, manage stock, assist with clinic sessions, and be prepared to travel with a driving license while working both independently and as part of a team on busy postnatal wards.

Responsibilities

• Identify on a daily basis which babies require screening using S4H and other hospital systems, liaising with ward staff
• Carry out newborn hearing screening within national and local protocols using automated equipment
• Record clinical and test data accurately and legibly, both written and electronic
• Monitor stock levels and order stock and non-stock items
• Plan and organise workload and clinic sessions
• Travel as required, with a valid driving licence and access to a vehicle
