New Vacancy: Programme Assistant

An exciting new opportunity to join Art Walk Projects small expanding team working closely with the Artistic Director and Producer, in this 2-day per week freelance role.

Art Walk Projects has a rare opportunity available to join their small expanding organisational team. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, well organised, proactive individual to join us as Programme Assistant commencing from 30th June.

A 2-day per week role is offered working on a freelance basis, paid at £110 per day (equivalent to £26,400 pro rata, 6-month initial contract with possibility of extension).

The position is ideally suited to someone interested to get involved in place-centred social arts practice, helping to realise an experimental arts programme working closely with the Artistic Director and Producer. Engaging communities is a key part to this role, with applications sought from those with ideally some experience of working within contemporary art or community oriented projects, together with an interest in environmental issues and coastal climate arts.

The role would particularly suit someone living in or near to Portobello or Craigmillar, or with familiarity of North East Edinburgh.
