Job Opportunity: Senior Associate Director or Director in Healthcare
My client, a leading global advisory firm, is seeking a Senior Associate Director or Director to join their rapidly growing health team in Central London.

The Role:
This role involves being a key figurehead for the client's healthcare offerings—driving new business, providing high-value strategic advice, and leading a world-class team.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, focusing on expanding the domestic health sector pipeline.
- Lead diverse healthcare, strategic communications, and issue-based campaigns for clients.
- Manage and strengthen client relationships by overseeing projects, directing teams, allocating resources, and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Deliver exceptional client service through proactive account management, acting as the primary contact, and guiding staff to support and grow partnerships.
- Develop and execute integrated campaigns to communicate client messages effectively to policymakers, civil servants, media, trade associations, consumers, and stakeholders.
- Drive strategic planning and message development for new business pursuits and ongoing projects.
- Stay informed on developments within client issue areas and identify opportunities for engagement and support.
The Ideal Candidate:
- 9+ years of UK healthcare, public affairs, and strategic communications agency experience. In-house experience is also considered.
- Strong expertise in navigating UK health policy issues.
- Deep understanding of public and government affairs.
- Self-directed, proactive, motivated, with a strong appetite for new business generation.
- Experience leading teams and managing work streams, serving as senior counsel on major projects.
- Desire to learn and grow across industries, sectors, and communication mediums.
- Proven success in strategic stakeholder engagement and new business initiatives.
- Strong enthusiasm and connections in the UK health space, with understanding of NICE processes and UK reimbursement landscape.
- In-depth knowledge of the ABPI code and advising clients on navigating it.
- Strong interest in UK politics, with understanding of Westminster & Whitehall, relationship-building, and policy development.
