Job summary

Hunter Selection in Bristol is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to lead NPI and industrialisation projects, developing processes, tooling, and production methods for new products. You will support prototype, pilot and production builds, creating robust documentation and SOPs, while collaborating across engineering, production and suppliers to ensure smooth ramp-up.

The role focuses on improving efficiency, quality and cost, defining capacity and cycle times, and releasing designs

Are you an experienced Manufacturing Engineer with a passion for New Product Introduction and bringing innovative products from concept to production? We're working with a leading Bristol-based manufacturer looking to strengthen their engineering team with an NPI Manufacturing Engineer who can play a key role in driving new product launches, optimising manufacturing processes, and ensuring products are delivered efficiently, cost-effectively, and to the highest quality standards.

The Role:

• Lead NPI and product industrialisation projects.

What we are looking for:

• HND or Degree qualified in Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline.
• Significant experience within an electro-mechanical manufacturing or production engineering environment.
• Proven experience leading New Product Introduction (NPI) activities within a manufacturing setting.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, process validation, PFMEA, Control Plans, and APQP methodologies.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and technical specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
