Job Description:

Our client is a well-established manufacturer of bespoke products. As a result of expansion, growth, and continued development, they have retained our services to source a New Product Development Manager to join the business. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to progress and develop their career further within a well-established organisation that is expanding and investing heavily in growth and its staff.

Reporting directly to the Technical Director, your main responsibilities will include:

  1. Design and development of new products
  2. Managing NPD & NPI projects from concept to completion
  3. Work cross-functionally on the DFM/DFA process
  4. Liaise with suppliers on components and material requirements for new products
  5. Performing market research alongside the product team

Currently a Product Development Engineer or Manager, R&D or Design Engineer or Manager, you will be experienced in either design and development of products from conception to completion or improving product designs. Experience of a 3D CAD system is essential; SolidWorks is preferred. You will have proven experience of managing design multiple projects to good effect and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
