Job summary

Helapet Ltd, a leading UK medical devices manufacturer, is seeking a New Product Co-ordinator to support development and launch of innovative healthcare products within the Sales and Marketing team. You will coordinate new product introductions, source materials, and collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to define market needs and develop concepts.

Strong project management in medical devices preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree (or equivalent) in Life Sciences, Engineering, Healthcare, or related discipline.
• Proven project management experience, ideally within medical devices or healthcare.
• Experience supporting or delivering new product introductions to market.
• Strong understanding of product development processes and ability to translate requirements into clear product specifications.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Project manage product development from sourcing to handover to Marketing for launch.
• Generate and evaluate new product concepts through testing and feasibility assessment.
• Source materials, components, and finished products to meet business requirements.
• Support the definition, design, and development of new Helapet products.
• Identify and source prototypes for customer and market evaluation.
• Develop and maintain product and raw material specifications.
• Ensure designs are cost-effective and scalable for manufacturing.
• Liaise with suppliers on quality, technical, and specification-related matters.
• Provide technical product information and support to Marketing.
• Ensure activities comply with Quality Systems, Health & Safety policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Create and maintain accurate specifications for raw materials and finished products.

Job Summary

The New Product Co-ordinator will support the development and launch of innovative medical devices and healthcare products within Helapet’s Sales and Marketing team. The role involves coordinating new product introductions, sourcing materials (including more sustainable options), and working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to define market needs and develop product concepts. It also includes supporting design specifications, product validation, and hands-on prototype development. The ideal candidate will have a life science, healthcare, or engineering background, with strong communication, attention to detail, and an interest in developing project management skills within the medical device industry.

Job Responsibilities
