Job summary

A leading automotive manufacturer is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team in Surrey on a 9-month contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing assembly processes from concept to series production and will play a crucial role in turning innovative designs into successful manufacturing. The role requires a degree in engineering and experience in new vehicle program planning.

Qualifications

  • Experience in new vehicle program planning and launch execution.
  • Strong understanding of trim & final assembly, end-of-line processes.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop vehicle assembly concepts (virtual & physical).
  • Generate & maintain PFMEA and Hours Per Car (HPC) reporting.
  • Lead line balancing, time & motion studies, and layout planning.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Design, Engineering & Operations.

Manufacturing Engineer - New Model Introduction

Location: Surrey

Contract: 9 Months

Rate: £30 per hour

We're working with a prestigious automotive manufacturer known for delivering high-performance, low-volume vehicles. As they continue to push boundaries with innovative new model launches, they are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join their growing team on a contract basis.

Role Overview

This is a unique opportunity to be at the heart of the new vehicle introduction (NVI) process. You'll be responsible for developing assembly processes from concept through to series production - playing a pivotal role in turning cutting-edge designs into real-world manufacturing success.
