Your New Job Title:Sales Manager

The Skills You'll Need:Sales, Customer Service, Account Management, Energy

Your New Salary: up to £60k + Commission, a car allowance of £5000 /pa and great benefits!

Location:Central London, 1-2 days in the office a week. Travelling 4-5 trips a month

Job status: Permanent

Start date: ASAP

Working hours: 37.5 hours per week (9-5.30pm)

Sales Manager-What You'll be Doing Each Day:

You will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies that drive increased pipeline and revenue stream from both existing and new customers. You will work closely with the site delivery and client support teams for aftersales care. You will also be responsible for driving specifications with design consultants and tier 1 contractors.

  • As a Sales Manager, your job is to strengthen the brand’s presence in the market by growing technical specifications with design consultants and delivering on sales targets with a wide range of customers from local authorities, housing associations, tier 1 developers, mechanical and electrical contractors and Energy Service companies in the Heat Network sector.
  • Identify and pursue new sales leads and business opportunities within target markets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including developers, property managers, energy consultants, and other industry partners.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to enhance brand visibility and strengthen partnerships
  • Lead negotiations, close deals, and ensure contracts align with company objectives and profitability targets
  • Oversee account management activities to ensure excellent customer service and long-term client satisfaction
  • Use CRM systems to maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status
  • Work closely with internal teams, including product, customer support, and marketing, to ensure alignment and deliver cohesive customer experiences
  • As part of a small team, you will have the freedom to manage your own workload and use your existing skills and experience to meet and exceed your goals.
  • Represent the brand at industry events and regularly meet with key stakeholders, both in person and online.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices, continuously expanding your knowledge of the company's products, services, and the broader market.

Sales Manager-The Skills You'll Need to Succeed:

  • Experience working in the heat market or building services space ideally.
  • An understanding of construction including roles and responsibilities of key stakeholders in the construction process and construction project stage
  • A highly organised and confident communicator.
  • Experience working independently in a small team
  • Motivation for sales and a high energy level to match this growing industry
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong empathy and the capacity to react calmly and efficiently in a scale-up environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentational skills, with the ability to communicate clearly in written and spoken English
  • A proven track record in achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and driven by results
