A global trading firm is looking for a Business Development Manager to expand their operations in the packaging sector. Offering a salary between £70-80k, this role includes significant responsibilities in managing sales and fostering a team culture. The position requires international travel, particularly within Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, and it begins as an in-office role before transitioning to hybrid work. Candidates must have a strong sales background in packaging raw materials and the ability to work under pressure.

Location: Central London, 5 days a week in-office for 6 months, then hybrid 4 days in-office

Significant opportunity to grow an international trading business. The focus on marketing and selling various Packaging Raw Materials (Steel, Plastics, paper, and Metals) to the Middle East, Europe, and Africa. The position is to manage and nurture the existing export sales business and develop new business in a variety of products including but not limited to Plastics, Paper, Tinplate, Aluminium Slugs, Coated Steel products, Cold Rolled steel, and Aluminium profiles.
