Job description

Our client is a traditional High Street practice who have been helping local people and businesses for more than 200 years.

On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced Residential Property Solicitor or CILEx to work in their Dulverton office in their New Homes team. You will be confident in your ability to work well under pressure, managing your own clients, managing and building a team, conducting matters in a professional manner, whilst providing a friendly, courteous, knowledgeable service.

You will be required to maintain the standard required for Lexcel and CQS, effectively maintaining and managing accurate use of their case management system and a variety of further software in support. With minimum supervision conducting all property transactions with a busy caseload from start to finish and building up relationships within the community with clients and estate agents.

You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a focus on exceptional client care. You will also be used to working in a busy and highly professional driven environment.

The position would suit someone who is able to use their initiative, is highly organised, accurate, proactive, ambitious and committed to meeting deadlines while remaining calm under pressure. Excellent all-round communication skills, professional telephone manner and attention to detail is essential. You will also have a flexible approach and the ability to work well within a team environment.
