Overview

Apply to the New Graduate RN Residency in Medical-Surgical at Brighton, MA. This full-time program begins in September 2025, with shifts varying by unit availability.

Program Details

St. Elizabeth's Medical Center offers a comprehensive transition-to-practice program for new graduate nurses, incorporating the Nurse of the Future Nursing Core Competencies. Cohorts of new graduates undergo joint orientation, with individualized education supported by preceptors and a series of educational days over six months. This fosters mentorship, camaraderie, and experiential learning.

Opportunities

We are seeking candidates who have graduated from nursing school within the past 12 months. The role involves nursing assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation, and care coordination across the healthcare continuum. The RN is responsible for clinical, educational, quality, and fiscal outcomes, following departmental models, policies, procedures, protocols, and standards. The position reports to the Unit Nurse Manager.
