Job description

Gowing Law Solicitors are currently looking for a New Claims Handler to join our expanding New Claims team. This role is perfect for someone with a great telephone manner who’s confident speaking with clients. Experience in legal or claims admin is helpful but not essential full training provided.

Join the Gowing Law Team as a New Claims Handler within our New Claims Department. You will be responsible for:

- Reviewing and vetting Housing Disrepair Claims
- Setting up cases on our case management system
- Carrying out identity checks on potential clients
- Discussing the case with clients over the telephone
- Dealing with incoming calls from clients relating to their Housing Disrepair case

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, have a great telephone manner, be confident speaking with clients.

Experience at a solicitors firm or claims company in an administration of customer service role is preferred but not essential, as full training provided.

You will be based in our Manchester office (M35) with the opportunity of splitting your time between the office and home in the future. You’ll work 35 hours per week between Monday and Friday.

The role comes with an uncapped bonus scheme as well as weekly incentives in which you can earn generous bonus, vouchers and other prizes.
