Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated New Care Professional to join our team on a part-time basis in Wigan, United Kingdom. As a Care Professional, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their homes or care facilities.

  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
  • Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients' health conditions
  • Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when necessary
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Document client information and report any changes in condition to supervisors
  • Accompany clients to medical appointments and social activities when required
  • Adapt care plans to meet individual client needs and preferences
  • Respond promptly and appropriately to emergencies or unexpected situations
Qualifications
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Basic medical knowledge and understanding of common health conditions
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Previous experience in healthcare or caregiving is preferred
  • Ability to travel within the Wigan area
  • Valid driving licence and access to a vehicle may be required
  • Willingness to undergo a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check
  • First Aid and CPR certification is advantageous
Additional Information

Rate of pay: Week days £13.25-£13.75 per hour, Weekend Rate £13.75 per hour. 45p per mile.
