Role Overview

As a New Business Sales Representative at Parameta Solutions, you will be at the heart of our growth initiative, focusing on capturing and expanding new revenue opportunities in financial data intelligence. This role is designed for driven individuals looking to leverage their industry knowledge to shape the future of financial intelligence. You’ll be strategically positioned to connect with key decision-makers across high-profile clients, driving new business in a company poised to make major strides in market share.

With significant investments in sales excellence, our Sales Representatives are positioned as the future leaders who will elevate our client relationships to new heights.

Role Responsibilities

  1. Proactively prospect, qualify, and secure high-value business opportunities from new clients where no historical relationship exists, effectively managing and growing a robust sales pipeline.
  2. Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify client pain points, goals, and requirements, positioning our suite of products and solutions as key tools to meet these objectives.
  3. Work seamlessly with SDRs to ensure an efficient handoff process and strategic follow-up on pre-qualified leads, optimising the client journey from initial contact to deal close.
  4. Deliver impactful presentations tailored to each client’s unique needs, supported by deep industry insights and expert product knowledge to build trust and drive engagement.
  5. Maintain meticulous records of all sales activities, managing leads, pipeline health, and account status within the CRM to ensure transparency and data integrity.
  6. Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets, contributing to team objectives and Parameta Solutions’ growth trajectory in the financial data intelligence space.

Experience / Competences

Essential

  1. Demonstrated experience in B2B sales, particularly within the data, analytics, or financial technology sectors, showcasing a deep understanding of the industry landscape and client needs.
  2. Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets, demonstrating a results-oriented mindset and the ability to drive business growth.
  3. Strong verbal and written communication skills, employing a consultative sales approach to build relationships, understand client needs, and articulate value propositions effectively.
  4. Comfortable working with CRM systems, particularly Salesforce, to manage sales activities, track customer interactions, and analyse data for informed decision-making.


Desired

  1. Familiarity with current trends and developments in the data, analytics, or financial technology sectors, enabling insightful discussions with potential clients.
  2. Proficient in utilising data analysis tools to derive insights and support sales strategies, helping to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
