Oliver Sanderson is engaged with a technology company looking for a New Business Sales Executive to sell their Enterprise Data SaaS solutions into the transportation sector.

This role focuses on driving the company's expansion into transportation, responsible for originating, developing, and closing high-value, complex opportunities.

Key responsibilities:
  • Managing the full sales lifecycle: lead identification, relationship cultivation, bid responses, and contract closing.
  • Creating and presenting compelling business cases and technical proposals.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders and strategic partners to create tailored solutions and winning proposals.
  • Engaging with C-level executives and key decision-makers in transportation.
  • Achieving ambitious new business growth targets.
  • Supporting the transition from sales to delivery, ensuring customer outcomes.
  • Representing the organization at industry events and through thought leadership content.
Ideal candidate:
  • Experience selling into transportation, with market knowledge, competition awareness, and buyer trends.
  • Proven success in securing multi-tower, complex IT deals (e.g., Cloud, Digital, Data Platforms, AI/ML) in transportation.
  • Strong experience with tender-based sales processes, including RFIs, ITTs, and pre-qualification questionnaires.
  • Excellent communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
  • Solutions-oriented mindset with deep understanding of technology-enabled business change.
  • Familiarity with data-led propositions, including data acquisition, sharing, and machine learning.
  • Confidence working with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
