Job summary

Everywhen is seeking a New Business Property Underwriter for a hybrid role, with 1 day in our Colchester office. You will underwrite and administer risks on new business within delegated authority, and produce compliant documentation throughout the underwriting process.

You will build broker relationships, trade confidently to meet productivity targets, and continually grow your technical skills and underwriting knowledge while ensuring adherence to group standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Cert CII (preferred)
• Specialist market and product knowledge
• Understanding of the legal and regulatory insurance landscape
• Confident communication and relationship-building skills
• Proactive approach balancing technical accuracy and commercial decisions

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and administer risks across new business within Delegated Underwriting Authority limits.

• Demonstrate proactive follow‑up on risks and maintain a high standard of technical decision‑making.

• Trade confidently and effectively to meet productivity goals.
• Build and maintain strong internal and external relationships.
